University Of Hertfordshire: Top 100 Under 50 by THE

Sent on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor

Colleagues,

I am delighted to announce that the University of Hertfordshire has been ranked in the top 100 universities in the world under 50 years old, according to the new Times Higher Education 100 under 50 rankings published yesterday.
Out of worldwide universities founded after 1962, the University is ranked at number 62 above many renowned institutions. The rankings are based on excellence across teaching, research, citations, industry income and international outlook. The University scored highly for the citing of its academic research on a global scale and for its international outlook and mix.  Out of the 20 universities in the UK that are mentioned in the rankings, Hertfordshire ranks in the top 12 making it the only new university in 19 years to have appeared in 3 world rankings.
I am particularly proud of this accolade which is testament to the support and dedication to academia from our staff, students and alumni.

Well done!
Quintin
Professor Quintin McKellar CBE

Congratulations University of Hertfordshire! We're proud to be associated with an institution that takes excellence to its highest regard!

Sincerely,
